Back to the Eagles

It is hard to believe but the calendar and weather says that it is time to close up the lake place. Five months have flown by in which we added a new park model, deck, and awning to enjoy our little corner of God's North Country. Sunday was our last time on the lake on our kayak. Some of the Maples have started their spectacular fall show.
The stairs to the lake are minus the kids and campers of summer.
The docks don't have the pontoons and boats tied to them anymore.
And most of the boats are on shore ready for the big freeze that is coming.
Sadly, it's time to turn the campground back to the critters of fall, like the deer who have been munching on our Hostas and Impatients plants...and even a fox that bravely ran through our back yard this week (No pictures... he was too fast).
Yep, its time to turn the lake back to the Eagles for whom the lake is named... till, Lord willing, next year when we can share it once again with all the beauty that God has given for us to enjoy.
