How North Dakotans spend winter -December 15-February 29, 2020

We are home after two and a half months in Arizona.  We were able to meet with my HS friend and his wife who have lived in Arizona for a long time.  Always fun to visit with these dear friends.
I had fun putting up a hummingbird feeder and taking pictures of  the male Anna's Hummingbird.
Our friends showed us their new home and served us this picture perfect piece of cake!
Carrie was able to come for three short days thanks to Rob staying with the kids.  We packed a lot into three days.
We visited Phoenix' Botanical Garden and  had a great morning and lunch.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West.

Fountain Hills is a favorite walking spot.
As is a lake in Scottsdale
I enjoyed watching this chip shot with the gallery from Canada.
On one of our walks in Fountain Hills we were surprised to run into friends from home who were visiting the area.  What a pleasant surprise.

It is hard to believe the flowers in Arizona when it is bitter cold up north.

On one of our walks a little boy landed a trout and he was soooo excited.

On of the walks in Fountain Hills we saw a professional golf tournament was on... that is the Professional Disc Golf Tournament.
This was our view from our condo... what a great way to spend winter.
