| We made it home from Arizona after a stop at Cousin Pat's. Abbey is not a "pointer" but she knows how to "hint" about not forgetting about her when food is around. Me thinks someone must smuggle treats to her regularly and it isn't M. |

| I told M that we should come back when it was warmer and hike to the top of this. Wouldn't you like to build a house with a view on top of here? There would be no neighbors, but what a view. Of course a helicopter would be needed to get up and down the hillside. |

| Leaving New Mexico we had a little snow on the roads but missed the storms going through the Midwest. We saw repeated signs for "Elk Crossings" and even a "Bear Crossing." I just don't know why they don't put those crossings at places that aren't so treacherous to drive. {:>) |
