| What better sign of Spring than hearing and seeing the return of the Robin? |

| The Red River of the North is behaving, staying well within it's banks and dikes. |

| The last glob of snow is fighting to stay but some rains have helped fight against it. More snow showers are predicted and overnight temps in the teens. Maybe 50 for Easter. |

| We have moved onto the porch when the temps allow, and are able to hear the sound of a pair of Cardinals. They are kind of rare in our world and I am not sure how well they are getting established. |

| The reason maybe because of this guy...a Cooper's Hawk. They are back and I have seen them trying to get lunch from my bird feeder. Usually you just see a flash of wings as it swoops down and scatters the Juncos feeding and with unbelievable agility snatches a poor critter out of the air. |

| I have been practicing taking pictures of the moon. This full moon rose beautifully in the East last night and had a tinge of color. |

| Soon the clouds came and went and I got this picture of the "man in the moon." Do you see him in the middle of the moon? His arms are stretched at 45 degrees and he is just pictured from the waist up. Ok, Ok... use your imagination. |

| Early this morning I set the alarm for 1:45 am and tried my luck with the eclipse. I didn't find it easy without the light that had come from the full moon. Here you see it is almost completely covered by the earth's shadow. |

| My camera and my fingers were not cooperating. It was in the teens outside but the show had to go on. |

| Here it is. The famous "Blood Moon." After 45 minutes I decided that a warm bed was more inviting. Fingers were nearly frozen, but no blood was spilled. |
