| We opened up our lake place this past week and the loons are back and noisy. |

| On the way to Bemidji we saw this nest right next to the road. A handy little lane allowed me to pull over and take a few shots... with my camera. |

| He paid no attention to me, I'm sure because of the noisy road. Our eagles at the camp site are much more flighty. |

| I'm sure the people bloggers are grumbling again...two blogs with birds... oy. |

| I blame it on the lack of such birds in Iowa when I was growing up. Not sure if they are around there now or not. |

| Our neighbors put their dock in which is a sure sign that fishing season is close to opening. And even though it is not a good picture, it is of people. |

| We have been hearing of fires in Canada and the smoke they are sending our way. The hazy sunrise is proof. And I thought Canada was our good neighbor to the North; but they send smoke in the summer and Alberta Clippers in the winter. Not like a good neighbor. |
