The Hazards of a Race Car Driver

Grandpa and Grandma S. gave the boy a remote controlled race car.  Occasionally, Daddy takes the driver for a spin in a vacant parking lot.
That seems like a safe activity... unless you are six.  Because six year old boys don't stand and run the remote from a stationary position, they run after the car turning it wildly as they run at full speed.
Of course it is fun to try making it run into yourself or to aim it at Papa so it goes between his legs.
And what are sisters for if not to chase with the faster moving race car?
Warnings from the pit crew about the "caution flag" being waved go totally unheeded.  Race car drivers after all are risk takers.
And you guessed it; there is a crash and the driver escapes with just a "bloody boo boo" on one knee. Fortunately it wasn't the other knee which had received it's boo boo the day before and was protected with a bandaid.
So the fun ends with a long, slow, limping walk back home with encouragement from Dad, and stories to tell about matching boo boos.
