Aloha to KCC

One of the joys that M and I have had is the good church our family over here has had for three years.  Kailua Community Church is not a large facility but they have around 525 on a Sunday with their three services.
What is more important than their size is their great fellowship and Bible preaching from Pastor Perry Alexander.
Both Pastor Perry and his Father, a dentist, taught Greek and Bible when Uncle John Rhoads had his Asian School of Evangelism in Kaulua.  Pastor Perry went to Malaysia for a graduation of one of Uncle John's graduate's school this Spring (The original graduates are now teaching their own schools for Asian Evangelism).  And next fall KCC he will be hosting the ASE Conference at their church which will bring many of the original students Uncle trained together for a time of refreshing.  Pastor Perry is a winsome evangelist and strong in the pulpit and we are so thankful for this church and pastor's ministry to our family in Hawaii.
On our first trip to Hawaii in 1985, Uncle John took us to Kailua Beach which is very near where his home and school were located.  It is a world famous beach and often is on the list of the top ten beaches of the world.  We say Aloha to Kailua and look forward to the continued ministry its people have for the gospel.
