We closed up for the winter but were having some of our nicest summer weather. Here we are on our last trip around the lake before putting the kayak away.
We drove to MSP, Iowa for overnight and saw Norm and Jan and Lou and Pat, and finished to Little Rock on Saturday. Wish I could have flown like this critter.
This Blue Heron is stalking the pond behind the home of Rob and Carrie.
They have big eyes and this one seems a bit near-sighted as he leans over to get a closer look.
Nothing near-sighted about this guy when he is after his supper. We picked him up and his parents of course, on Sunday evening, after their week in Colorado celebrating Rob's tenth anniversary from graduating at the AF Academy.
I like his big eyes but he was not too sure who those old-folks were. He has really stretched out and is very blond.
