We have seen it coming for quite awhile. Fall is arriving in stages.... some trees are beautiful and even losing leaves, while others haven't started their fall colors.
The Lake looks pretty deserted these weeks.
The Sandhill Cranes are getting ready to leave and are building up their reserves from the fields.
Even the native birds from the area are putting on some weight at the Bar-B-Que supper.
Raymond, the Chick-a-dee, won't leave for the winter but still has a love for sunflower seeds.
Our neighbors joined us for a beautiful fall picnic in mid September.
Only trouble with fall is what comes next...
